The Director-General of the purported Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC), Adeniyi Adeyemi, has been arrested following a warrant issued by a Federal High Court in Abuja.
Adeyemi was apprehended on Tuesday shortly after Justice Mohammed Umar ordered his arrest over allegations linked to forgery and the operation of the alleged non-existent agency.
The arrest followed court proceedings in Abuja, where the judge issued the warrant, paving the way for security operatives to take the suspect into custody.

The Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC), which Adeyemi allegedly headed, has been described as a non-existent government body, with the case drawing attention to concerns over impersonation and the creation of fake government institutions.
More details are expected as the case progresses before the Federal High Court.
