Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Burna Boy has come under fresh criticism from fellow artiste Brymo, who alleged without providing evidence, that the Afrobeats star bought his Grammy Award.
Brymo made the claim during a recent interview with NotJustOk, where he also revisited his long-running feud with Burna Boy and criticized the singer’s music, songwriting and public image.
Reacting to Burna Boy’s viral lyric, “Hustle make you no fall off like Brymo,” Brymo described the line as “mediocre,” saying he was surprised that an artist of Burna Boy’s status would reference him in a song.
According to Brymo, he would never mention Burna Boy in his own music because he does not consider him worthy of such attention.
Escalating his criticism, Brymo claimed Burna Boy’s Grammy victory was not earned.
“You won a Grammy, and so what? It was bought,” Brymo alleged, adding that he had once been approached with an offer to pay $10,000 to secure a BET Award.»

Brymo further questioned Burna Boy’s songwriting and performance abilities, saying he intends to continue calling him out over what he described as past offences.
The latest remarks add another chapter to the pair’s long-running rivalry, which began in 2023, after Brymo accused Burna Boy of copying aspects of his music.
Burna Boy later referenced Brymo in a freestyle with the line, “Hustle make you no fall off like Brymo,” a lyric that has continued to fuel tensions between the two artists.
As of the time of this report, Burna Boy has not publicly responded to Brymo’s latest allegations.
