Popular Nollywood actress Adunni Ade has revealed that she secretly welcomed a baby girl, Baby Sal, more than two years ago, sharing the news publicly for the first time on her birthday.
In an emotional post on Instagram, the actress explained that she deliberately kept her daughter’s birth private, choosing peace and privacy over public attention while enjoying the blessing with her family.
According to Adunni, the journey to motherhood was filled with personal challenges, silent battles, and years of waiting before finally receiving what she described as an answered prayer.
“Today, on my birthday, I’m finally sharing what we’ve protected for over two years,” she wrote.
The actress stated that while fans saw one side of her life, she was experiencing a much deeper and more personal journey behind the scenes.
She emphasized that not every single mother’s story is surrounded by controversy and that people should avoid making assumptions about others’ lives.
Addressing possible speculation surrounding the birth of her daughter, Adunni firmly stated that no relationship or marriage was affected.
“P.S. No single home is or was broken in the making of our Baby Sal,” she wrote.
