“Notwithstanding the complexity of managing the massive population of the state, it is evident that Adamawa has been hugely prosperous,” Fintiri declared.
The governor expressed gratitude to the people of the state for their unwavering support and partnership throughout the years, noting that the achievements of his administration would not have been possible without their patience, resilience, and belief in the government’s vision.
“I just want to say a big thank you to everyone that has been a co-traveler in this journey over the last seven years. It has not been easy, but to the glory of God, it is evident that there is huge prosperity in Adamawa,” he said.
Fintiri explained that beyond political will and policy implementation, his administration had remained committed to financial discipline and careful planning, which he described as the foundation of the government’s successes.
According to him, effective resource management had enabled the administration to execute projects and expand development initiatives across the state while ensuring inclusiveness in governance.
“In all these, the complexity of managing people means there has to be something else driving it. In all situations, we give glory to God. We are grateful that He has given us the opportunity to become a source of joy to the people of Adamawa,” the governor stated.
“Our success is also anchored on financial discipline and careful planning. No one is left behind and nothing is left untouched,” he added.
Governor Fintiri also paid tribute to the people of Adamawa for standing by his administration during difficult moments, stressing that their support had remained a major source of strength for the government.
“The last seven years have been very eventful and very fruitful. You can see remarkable progress going on across the length and breadth of Adamawa. This would not have been possible without the support and resilience of our people. You stood with us through the challenges, believed in the vision, and partnered with government to deliver results,” he said.
The governor assured residents that his administration would continue to consolidate on existing achievements while intensifying efforts to improve service delivery and infrastructure development in the remaining period of his tenure.
“So, for me, the last seven years have been very eventful and very fruitful. We can only do better and render more services to the people in the next one year. Our commitment remains: ‘No one is left behind and nothing is left untouched,’” Fintiri added.
The “Fresh Air” administration, launched in 2019, has consistently projected its development agenda around inclusive governance, infrastructure renewal, social welfare, and economic growth across Adamawa State.
