Former Big Brother Naija housemate Chizzy Francis has reacted to recent comments made by the father of BBNaija winner Ilebaye Odiniya concerning her victory on the reality show.

The controversy began after Ilebaye’s father claimed he played a major role in securing her win by mobilising support and votes during her time in the Big Brother Naija house.

His remarks surfaced while addressing the ongoing assault-related controversy involving his daughter.

Reacting via his X page, Chizzy disagreed with the claims, insisting that he was one of the strongest supporters behind Ilebaye’s success during the show.

Key Highlights:

  • Former BBNaija housemate Chizzy Francis reacted to claims made by Ilebaye Odiniya’s father about influencing her win.
  • Ilebaye’s father had alleged he played a major role in her Big Brother Naija victory by mobilising votes and support.
  • Chizzy disputed the claim, saying he was heavily involved in campaigning for Ilebaye and significantly contributed to her popularity during the show.
  • He also alleged that Ilebaye later blocked and unfollowed him and many other housemates after the show ended.
  • The remarks have intensified online debate, with social media users split between supporting Chizzy’s account and defending Ilebaye’s family.

According to him, he campaigned extensively for the reality star and contributed significantly to her popularity while the show was ongoing.

“Ilebaye’s dad lied when he said he contributed 75% to Ilebaye’s win. I literally carried that girl on my shoulders, campaigning for her like my life depended on it,” Chizzy wrote.

The reality star further alleged that despite his support, Ilebaye later blocked and unfollowed him after the show ended.

“And ask me how she paid me back? She blocked and unfollowed me. Not just me, she unfollowed about 75% of the housemates too,” he added.

Despite expressing disappointment, Chizzy stated that he would not support wrongdoing or remain silent over issues he believes are unfair.

“But regardless of everything, I will never support evil or stay silent when something wrong is done. What her father did was completely wrong,” he said.

The statement has since sparked mixed reactions online, with fans divided over the growing controversy.

While some social media users backed Chizzy’s claims, others defended Ilebaye and her father amid the ongoing family drama.

The controversy surrounding Ilebaye and her family has continued to trend online as more individuals connected to the BBNaija star speak publicly on the situation.
