The founder of Omega Power Ministries, Chibuzor Chinyere, has announced plans to arrange a marriage for one of his adopted daughters, a 21-year-old autistic lady identified as Chiemeka Chibuzor.
The cleric disclosed the development in a Facebook post on Tuesday evening, stating that the decision was made in what he described as the young woman’s best interest.
According to him, the prospective husband must be young and in good physical and mental condition.
To encourage interest, Chinyere outlined a number of incentives, including lifelong financial support, free accommodation, and a property to be jointly owned by the couple.
Also, he noted that church representatives would conduct periodic, and unannounced visits to ensure the adopted daughter’s well-being.
He explained that the arrangement is aimed at guaranteeing her care, protection, and overall happiness.
The development comes weeks after a similar initiative by the cleric, in which he facilitated the marriage of a non-verbal autistic man popularly known as Aboy.
The ceremony, held on March 29, generated widespread attention and mixed reactions.
While some commended the gesture, others raised concerns about issues such as consent, dignity, and the ethical implications of arranging marriages for individuals with cognitive disabilities.

Following the criticism, Chinyere presented gifts to the man, later renamed Elijah, including a Lexus vehicle and a plot of land.
He was also appointed as an ambassador for the church’s free school dedicated to children with autism and Down syndrome.
The latest announcement has once again sparked conversations around the balance between care, autonomy, and the rights of persons living with disabilities in society.
