The management of Nigerian dancer and entertainer Poco Lee has hit back at the growing storm surrounding an ongoing legal case involving the entertainer in the United Kingdom, warning the public against treating allegations as established facts.

In a statement, the management expressed concern over what it described as a wave of unverified claims circulating across social media, insisting that some of the details being attached to the case are not contained in the allegations before the UK court.
Of particular concern to the team were reports referencing “drink spiking”, which it categorically dismissed as unrelated to the charges currently before the court.
The management said, “We are particularly concerned by the volume of unverified narratives currently circulating, including claims referencing ‘drink spiking’, among other allegations, which do not form part of any of the allegations or charges before the court.”
The statement comes amid heightened public interest in the case, with discussions online generating intense reactions and, in some quarters, condemnation of the entertainer even as the legal proceedings remain ongoing.
Poco Lee’s team, however, urged the media and members of the public to separate allegations from proven facts, arguing that introducing claims outside the actual court case could create a distorted picture of the matter.
“We ask the public and media to desist from introducing details that are not part of the actual case, as doing so only fuels misinformation and causes unfair prejudice to all parties involved,” the management said.

The team also invoked the principle of presumption of innocence, stressing that the allegations must be tested through the appropriate judicial process before any conclusion can be reached.
“Allegations are not evidence of guilt, and no conclusions should be drawn until the matter has been heard and determined through the appropriate legal process,” it added.
The development has added another layer to the controversy surrounding Poco Lee, as public debate over the case continues to intensify online.
While critics have called for accountability and transparency, his management is insisting that the court process,not social media speculation,should ultimately determine the facts of the case.
