The sad news was confirmed on Tuesday by Bolaji Amusan, President of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria, who announced the development through his social media platform.
Expressing grief over the loss, the veteran actor, popularly known as Mr. Latin, described Janmole’s death as a painful blow to the industry and prayed for strength for his family, friends and colleagues.

“May the soul of our departed colleague, Adesina Okiki Janmole, who tragically lost his life in an accident, rest in perfect peace.
“May God grant his family, friends and colleagues the strength and comfort to bear this irreparable loss. He will be greatly missed,” he wrote.
Janmole’s passing comes nearly four years after he survived a fire incident on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, an experience many of his associates described at the time as a miraculous escape.
Over the years, the late actor built a reputation as one of the familiar faces in Yoruba-language films, earning admiration for his versatility, humour and dedication to the growth of Nollywood.
