Court sentences Jessica Ann to 25 years
The Abuja court subsequently convicted and sentenced Ann to 25 years in prison for the offences.

The sentence followed her guilty plea in the case involving the alleged importation of the heroin into Nigeria.

Ann’s journey from Doha to Nigeria ended with her conviction and a lengthy custodial sentence after NDLEA officers discovered the heroin in her luggage.
