Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, has been honoured with the Christian Youth Peace Ambassador Award by the Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN).
The award was presented during the national Christian youth security summit and Thanksgiving held in Abuja.
YOWICAN recognised Tinubu for his reported contributions to peace-building, youth development, peaceful coexistence and national unity.
Tinubu was absent from the ceremony, with the award presented on his behalf to Ambassador Belusochukwu Enwere, a former national chairman and president of YOWICAN.
In his appreciation message, Tinubu described the recognition as a renewed call to service and greater responsibility.

He pledged to deepen his support for initiatives promoting youth empowerment, peace, unity and positive social impact.
According to him, lasting peace goes beyond the absence of conflict, requiring justice, compassion, tolerance and mutual respect among citizens.
Tinubu also urged Nigerian youths to take an active role in building a united nation, describing the country’s religious, ethnic and cultural diversity as a potential source of strength rather than division.
He commended YOWICAN for its efforts in promoting responsible leadership, community development and peaceful coexistence among Christian youths.
The summit brought together Christian youth leaders and other stakeholders to discuss security, leadership, peace-building and nation-building.
Tinubu urged young Nigerians to embrace peace, love and unity while working towards a Nigeria where every young person has the opportunity to dream, contribute and prosper.
