The wife of singer Rudeboy, Ivy Ifeoma, has advised women to focus on building their own financial success rather than making marriage to a wealthy man their primary ambition.

In a recent online video, Ivy explained that while marrying a rich partner can be beneficial and create opportunities, it should not be the foundation of a relationship.

According to her, a partner’s wealth ultimately belongs to them, making financial independence an important goal for every woman.

She added that generosity, character, and supportiveness are more valuable qualities in a spouse than financial status alone.

Ivy also noted that she had achieved financial success before meeting her husband, stressing the importance of personal growth, career advancement, and wealth creation.

Her comments have since generated reactions on X, with users sharing mixed opinions on the topic.

@AdaChukwu wrote: “She’s absolutely right. Every woman should have her own source of income and not depend solely on marriage for survival.”

@KingManny_X commented: “Easy to say when you’re already married to a wealthy celebrity. Reality is different for many people.”

@TheRealTosin said: “The key point is financial independence. Marriage should be about partnership, not financial rescue.”

@MideSpeaks wrote: “A generous man is better than a rich but selfish one. Ivy made a valid point.”

@NaijaTrendz commented: “Nothing wrong with wanting a rich partner, but you should also work on becoming successful yourself.”

The discussion continues to trend online as netizens debate the balance between love, financial security, and personal ambition in modern relationships.
