Motorists in Bauchi State have been cautioned against the use of illegal tinted glass and concealed number plates on their vehicles due to security concerns.

By obstructing the visibility of vehicle license plates and hindering identification, illegal tinted glass and covered number plates, the commissioner said, undermine law enforcement efforts to uphold security in the state.
Urging motorists using such modifications as a matter of urgency to cease, the Police Command, according to the statement, has vowed to take decisive action against offenders to ensure strict adherence to the law.
He beckoned at the members of the public to collaborate with law enforcement agencies by reporting any instances of illegal tinted glass or covered number plates they encountered.
