The police has arrested 15 suspects in connection with kidnapping, armed robbery, homicide, sexual offences, cultism and other criminal activities across different states.
The arrests were recorded in operational activities conducted between September 17 and 20, 2026, according to a state-by-state executive summary released by the Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Ani Iniedu.

In Oyo State, the police arrested a suspected member of a kidnapping syndicate at Kanbi Village in Atisbo Local Government Area on September 18.
Two other suspects were also arrested for allegedly concealing kidnapping activities. The suspects are being investigated by the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Ibadan.
Also in the state, a serving air force officer was arrested on September 17 in connection with an alleged armed robbery and abduction in Ibadan.
A blue Toyota Camry allegedly used in the operation was recovered and taken to the SCID in Ibadan as part of the investigation.
In another incident, police arrested a suspect in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a three-year-old girl in Saki.
In Kogi State, detectives arrested a suspect following a fatal shooting at Ohunene Community in Ajaokuta Local Government Area on September 19.
Another suspect was arrested at Anyigba, Dekina Local Government Area, following a reported missing-person case, with the police investigating the circumstances surrounding the alleged abduction.

In Kano State, the police arrested a female suspect over the death of her husband at Katsalle Quarters in Rogo Local Government Area.
The police in Delta State recorded several arrests, including that of a suspect accused of defiling a minor in Ughelli South Local Government Area and another suspect who allegedly defiled an eight -year- -old girl at Okwagbe Waterside Community.
Similarly, three suspects were arrested for alleged drug trafficking and cult-related activities at Umusadege, Kwale, in Ndokwa West Local Government Area of the state.
In Cross River State, police officers tracked and arrested a suspect following a viral video allegedly showing a cult-related firearm discharge in Calabar metropolis.
In Gombe State, crime scene detectives secured the scene of a suspected culpable homicide at Duggari Hills, Yamaltu-Deba Local Government Area.
In Nasarawa State, police recovered and impounded a white Toyota Camry allegedly involved in a fatal road traffic incident at Gudi, Akwanga Local Government Area.
