Governorship candidate of the PDP in Benue State, Chief Michael Aondoakaa (SAN), commended the people of the senatorial district and saluted Sen. Moro for the overwhelming support and the trust that the people reposed in him because of his selfless service in the Senate.

He described as unfortunate the neglect the zone has suffered under the current administration in the state, despite the unprecedented resources received from the federation account over the past three years.

The former attorney general of the federation and minister of justice who was joined on stage by his running mate, Oyije Ogbenjuwa, assured the people of the senatorial district that their needs would be adequately addressed, if they vote PDP into power in 2027.

Earlier, Sen. Moro had berated the present administration in the state for failing the people, despite receiving over ₦35 billion monthly as allocation from the federation account.

He accused Governor Hyacinth Alia of deliberately denying the senatorial district of meaningful developmental projects for nearly four years, arguing that such a government does not deserve a second term.

Leader of the PDP in the state, Chief Samuel Ortom, commended the people of  the senatorial district for standing firmly with the PDP and endorsing Sen. Moro and other candidates of the party ahead of next year’s elections.

Chief Ortom expressed confidence that a PDP administration led by Chief Aondoakaa would address the challenges facing the people and restore hope across the state if elected in the next polls.

A highlight of the rally was the presentation of party flags to Sen. Moro, as well as the PDP House of Representatives and state House of Assembly candidates by the Benue State Chairman of the party, Ezekiel Adaji.
