PDP flagbearer fetes Isoko constituents, appeals for massive support in 2023

The Isoko South Constituency 1 candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the House of Assembly in the 2023 general elections, Hon Bino Obowomano Owhede, on June 5, 2022, hosted party faithful and supporters to thank them for their unflinching support during the just concluded primary elections.
Speaking during the ‘thank you ceremony’ which was held in Hon. Evans Egbo’s residence in Oleh, Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State, Hon. Bino said, “I give God Almighty the glory for making it possible for me to emerge, candidate of our great party, PDP.
“I appreciate everyone for standing by me during the consultation and the primary election. I thank you all for your unflinching support.”
He stressed that the big battle is still ahead which is next year’s general election and appealed to everyone to come together and remain united as one indivisible family to ensure he emerged victorious during the general election.
“We are all faithful members of PDP. I have spoken to all my co-contestants during the primary election. We are all working together as one family,” Hon. Bino stated.
The PDP House of Assembly flag bearer also appealed to those he might have offended during the electioneering process to forgive him so they can all work together for victory in the forthcoming election. He also urged constituents of Isoko South Constituency 1, who are yet to get their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) to go and register for them to be eligible to vote during the general in 2023.

Also speaking, Hon. Evans Egbo, a PDP Chieftain in the area thanked the members of the People Democratic Party in Isoko South Constituency 1 for standing by Hon Bino, before, during and after the primary elections. He thanked them for their support, assistance and prayers, adding that, “if not for your spirited effort, Hon Bino could not have won the primary elections.”
He stated further; “we have finished the election. Everybody cannot be on the same side during the primary because we all have different interests, but now that we have a candidate, the candidate becomes everybody’s candidate.
“The party, PDP is now the owner of Hon. Bino. We must all work together to ensure that we win during the general election. We are pleading with everybody to stand firm and support Hon. Bino during the general elections.”
Meanwhile, a former PDP chairman in Isoko South, Chief Eneruvie Obi, responding on behalf of the leaders present at the ceremony, admitted that they have all accepted to stand firm and vote for Hon. Bino during the general elections. Chief Obi, however, appealed to all party members to put their differences aside and support the party’s candidate massively during the general election come 2023.
