PDP Chairman, Ayu decorates security aide

- Says diligence is hallmark of security personnel

National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr Iyorchia Ayu has said diligence is one of the hallmarks of security personnel including police officers.
Ayu said this at a short ceremony in his office at the party’s secretariat, Abuja on Thursday while decorating one of his security aides with his new rank.
The Nigerian Police recently promoted Sergeant Timothy Hembe to the rank of an Inspector.
The national chairman appreciated the Nigerian Police for founding Hembe worthy of elevation to a new rank.
He said the officer has displayed professionalism, diligence and trustworthiness while serving in his office.
The chairman urged other personnel to emulate Hembe, stressing that the authority will always reward hard work.
Ayu said under a PDP administration come 2023, security personnel in the country will be encouraged to further serve the nation diligently because a PDP government will protect, reward and provide a convenient working environment to police officers and other military and para-military personnel.

The chairman assured that Nigeria will be a more secure country to live in for nationals and foreigners alike under the APC administration.
He, therefore, urged Nigerians to keep hope alive and vote massively for the PDP to reposition, rebuild and restore the country.
