The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, has declared his readiness to collaborate with the University of California, Los Angeles, Sadiat Toyin Lawal Foundation, and Tabernacle Worship and Prayer Ministry to strengthen healthcare delivery across Ibadanland in Oyo State.
Ladoja made this known on Monday while receiving representatives of the organisations, led by Toyin Lawal, at his palace in Oke-Aremo, Ibadan North Local Government Area.
“The health of the people of Ibadanland is of paramount importance to me. I will leave no stone unturned to ensure the provision and promotion of healthy living of residents of the ancient city, for health is wealth,” the monarch said.
He further affirmed his commitment to the partnership, noting that improving the healthcare system in Ibadanland would remain a priority under his reign.
As part of efforts to fast-track collaboration, Ladoja disclosed that he had already facilitated a meeting between the visiting delegation and the Oyo State Primary Health Care Board, led by its Executive Secretary, Muideen Olatunji.
