An Entrepreneur and Chairman of the Cubana Group of Companies, Dr. Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, has announced plans to set up a Tricycle Assembly Plant in Ebonyi State.
Speaking to Journalists shortly after a close door meeting with Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State at the Government House, Abakaliki, Iyiegbu disclosed his company’s intention to expand its business operations in Ebonyi State.
He cited the peaceful environment, enhanced security, and improved infrastructure under the Nwifuru-led administration as major factors that have attracted his interest.
He commended Governor Nwifuru for creating an enabling environment for businesses to thrive, stressing that Ebonyi State now stands out as a preferred investment destination.
This is contained in a statement issued on Tuesday by governor Nwifuru’s Chief Press Secretary, Dr Monday Uzor and made available to journalists in Abakaliki.

While highlighting areas such as accessible roads, and security, as key advantages that make the state a viable ground for investment and economic growth.
“We tend to ensure business expansion in the state with focus on such areas like Keke assembly and sales. As a renowned Nigerian business man, we cannot continue to invest in other states while neglecting Ebonyi, especially as one of our major partners hails from the state”

In the next few months, visible progress would be recorded as all necessary preparations are on top gear to commence operations in earnest.”
