NYSC Fixes July 9 For 2025 Batch B Stream One Passing-Out Exercise

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced Thursday, July 9, 2026, as the official passing-out date for members of the 2025 Batch B Stream One nationwide.

In a statement issued by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, the scheme said activities leading up to the passing-out exercise began June 23, 2026.

According to the statement, the pre-passing-out activities will include Job Advisory and Counselling (JAC) sessions organised by the NYSC in collaboration with relevant agencies, registration and clearance of corps members by Local Government Inspectors (LGIs), and the endorsement of final clearance by Zonal Inspectors.

The NYSC added that the passing-out exercise will be conducted on a low-key basis, with Certificates of National Service to be presented only to corps members who have successfully met the requirements of the scheme in their respective local government areas.

Director-General of the NYSC, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, congratulated the outgoing corps members and wished them a successful completion of their national service.

He also encouraged them to uphold the ideals and values of the scheme as they transition into the next phase of their lives and continue to serve as worthy ambassadors of the NYSC.
