Former Taraba State Governor, Rev. Jolly Nyame, during the weekend, expressed confidence in the leadership of Governor Agbu Kefas, stating that he believed the incumbent state Governor would surpass his tenure in terms of development for the state.
Speaking to journalists in Takum, Nyame voiced optimism regarding Kefas’ potential to elevate Taraba to new heights and called for widespread support to ensure the governor’s success.
“I am confident that Governor Agbu Kefas would work more than me. I want to assure citizens that Kefas will transform Taraba more than expected.”
Reflecting on his governance, Nyame attributed his success to listening to sound advice and expressed faith in Kefas’ willingness to heed counsel from elders.
“Governor Kefas is the type that listens to elders, and we are ready to advise him correctly,” Nyame remarked.

While commending Kefas’ efforts to address security challenges in the state, Nyame emphasized the importance of peace for achieving developmental goals and urged all citizens to support the governor in his quest to make Taraba great again.
Stating that “We need peace to achieve the desired development. I want to encourage every citizen in Taraba to preach the gospel of peace and support Governor Kefas in his efforts.”
