The Kaduna State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has deployed 2,000 officers across the state to provide security during the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.
The development was disclosed in a statement issued on Monday by the command’s Public Relations Officer, Habeeb Badamasi.

According to the statement, the state Commandant, Panam Musa, said the deployment is aimed at ensuring a peaceful and hitch-free celebration throughout Kaduna State.
He explained that the security arrangement includes 120 senior officers and 1,880 rank-and-file officers stationed at prayer grounds, recreational centres, highways, strategic locations, and other critical areas across the state.

Musa directed area commanders and divisional officers to strengthen surveillance, improve intelligence gathering, and intensify crime prevention measures in their respective areas.
He added that special attention had been placed on major prayer grounds, public gathering points, and highway patrol operations under ‘Operation Fushin Kada’.
The commandant also assured residents that the NSCDC would continue to collaborate with other security agencies to maintain law and order during the festive period.
He urged members of the public to remain law-abiding and provide useful information to security agencies to help ensure a safe Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
