Nigerian model and beauty king Bethel Mbamara has emerged as the first runner-up at the Mister Global 2026 pageant, bringing international recognition to Nigeria at the male beauty competition held in Bangkok, Thailand.

Mbamara secured the position at the grand finale on Saturday, October 10, 2026, finishing behind Türkiye’s representative, Dilhan Divrikli, who was crowned Mister Global 2026.
The Philippines’ representative, MJ Ordillano, finished as the second runner-up, completing the top three of the international competition.
Mbamara’s achievement places Nigeria among the leading contestants at this year’s edition of the pageant, which brought together male representatives from different countries to compete for the international title.
The Nigerian model represented the country as Mister Global Nigeria 2026, earning a place among the final contenders after progressing through the competition.
A Growing Record In International Pageantry
His performance adds to his growing record in international male pageantry. Mbamara previously represented Nigeria at Mister International 2025, where he finished as the third runner-up and received the Mister International Africa title.
Originally from Adamawa State, Mbamara was born and raised in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. He is also pursuing a law degree at the Rivers State University.

His latest achievement further strengthens his profile in international pageantry, following his previous success at Mister International.
Although he did not claim the overall Mister Global crown, his first runner-up finish marks a notable result for Nigeria on the international male pageant stage.
