Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has officially launched the construction of a 2.6km internal road dualization project within the main campus of Bauchi State University Gadau.
The groundbreaking ceremony took place during the combined convocation ceremony at Gadau of Itas Gadau Local Government Area.
Mohammed emphasized that the road dualization initiative is a crucial aspect of his administration’s comprehensive Rural and Urban Road Renewal Projects.
This undertaking, according to him, aims to address the challenges posed by inadequate road networks, providing a solution to the longstanding issue faced by the people of the state.

He expressed his confidence that Bauchi State University Gadau, under his leadership, can competitively measure up to its counterparts across the country.

In addition to launching the road project, Governor Mohammed was observed to have also commissioned newly constructed lecture theaters, funded by Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND).
