Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde expressed his deep shock and sorrow at the untimely passing of Bisola Ajimobi Kola-Daisi, the daughter of his predecessor, the late Abiola Ajimobi.
In a heartfelt statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Dr. Sulaimon Olanrewaju, Governor Makinde lamented the profound loss.
The Trumpet yesterday reported that Bisola, who served as a Special Adviser to the Minister of Budget and Planning, Atiku Bagudu, tragically passed away at the age of 42 in the early hours of Thursday while in the United Kingdom.
Her family confirmed the news of her death in Ibadan through Bolaji Tunji, a Special Adviser to the former governor.

In his comments on her passing, Governor Makinde extended his condolences to Mrs. Florence Ajimobi, the bereaved wife of the former governor, and emphasized the impact of this loss on both families. He noted that Bisola’s death represents a profoundly sad and “shocking development” for the state and all who knew her.
The Governor also reached out to the extended family of Bashorun Kola Daisi, as well as to Bisola’s husband, Idris Kola-Daisi.
In his remarks, he prayed for God’s comfort and strength for them during this incredibly difficult time, expressing hope that they would find the fortitude to cope with their grief.
Furthermore, he offered prayers for the prevention of such tragic losses in both families moving forward.
