LSSTF secretary lauds security officers for sacrifice

Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), Dr Abdurrazaq Balogun has lauded personnel of the various security agencies in Nigeria for their sacrifice for the country.

He reminisced on their contribution to calming the frantic security situation both within and outside the shores of the country.

Balogun lauded the military and paramilitary agencies.

“Despite the seemingly insurmountable challenges and seemingly thankless situation, they have continued to protect the lives and properties of individuals. They have also protected our national assets and infrastructure while providing a major boost to international security”, he told The Trumpet in a brief chat.

The savvy administrator also used the opportunity to praise the individuals, banks, and other corporate organizations who contribute regularly to the Trust Fund. He urged other Nigerians to support the agency so as to bolster security in the nation’s commercial nerve centre and West Africa’s economic hub, Lagos state.

The funding agency, LSSTF supports various security agencies in Nigeria. This includes Nigeria Police, the Nigerian Army, Nigerian Navy, Nigeria Customs, Immigration Service (NIS), Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), the Rapid Response Squad (RRS), Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), and Lagos Neighborhood Safety Agency (LNSA).
