Lagos LCDA Chairman dies after long battle with ill-health

Chairman of the Oto-Awori Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Prince Musibau Asafa, has died after a prolonged battle with ill-health.

His death was officially announced on Facebook Saturday morning, by his Chief Press Secretary, Bodunrin Ayodele.

The statement which expressed the profound sorrow felt within the community reads: “Oto-Awori Local Council Development Area is in mourning following the loss of our esteemed Chairman, Prince Musibau Adekunle Asafa.

“Prince Asafa, a distinguished leader and committed public servant, dedicated his life to the service of his constituents and tirelessly advocated for their needs and interests.

“Despite the relentless efforts of medical professionals, he ultimately succumbed to his illness, leaving his family, friends, and colleagues in a state of shock and profound sadness”

As news of his passing spreads, an outpouring of tributes and condolences from community leaders and government officials who had the privilege of collaborating with him is anticipated.

Known for his unwavering commitment to enhancing the quality of life for residents of Oto-Awori, Prince Asafa’s contributions to community development will be deeply missed.

He was a visionary leader whose initiatives fostered growth and progress within the community”

“The Oto-Awori LCDA has lost a devoted and passionate servant, and his absence will be felt keenly by many.
