Fear and tension have enveloped Otulu community, in the Ezinihitte Mbaise Local government Area of lmo state as the traditional ruler of the community, His Royal Highness, Eze Joe-Benz Ochulor, who was kidnapped at the weekend by gunmen is found dead.
The Monarch’s lifeless body was found last night by the roadside at Mbutu community in the Aboh Mbaise council Area of lmo state.
With the kidnapping of His Royal Highness, Eze (Sir) Joe-Benz Ochulor, Olu 1 of Otulu Amumara, Mbaise, the lull in the business of kidnapping traditional rulers in the state has been broken.

Between 2022 and the early months of 2023, the kidnapping of Traditional Rulers in the State was rampant. At least, three of them, died in the hands of their kidnappers.
When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer of the Imo state command, (ASP)Henry Okoye, could not be reached for confirmation of the incident.
