The Senator representing Delta South at the Senate, Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Festus Keyamo SAN for his Ministerial Nomination by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Joel-Onowakpo in a public statement he personally signed on Friday, said Keyamo will contribute meaningfully to the success of the Tibunu’s Renewed Hope agenda following his antecedent and background in activism and the legal profession.
He described Keyamo as a loyal party man who has proven his worth beyond every reasonable doubt.
While commending the President for nominating Festus Keyamo and Stella Okotete as Ministers from Delta State, the Senator said Delta State is deserving of the recognition as a major crude oil producer in the country.
According to him, the gesture indicates that President Tinubu is prepared to be fair to all parts and regions of the country.
The statement reads, “I congratulate my brother and friend, Olorogun Festus Keyamo SAN on his meritorious nomination by our amiable President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR), as a Ministerial Nominee from our beloved Delta State.

“Without mincing words, Mr President is a man who is keen on bringing capable hands to help in steering Nigeria to greatness in actualization of his ‘Renewed Hope’ Agenda and with the nomination of Keyamo, I can attest to that fact judging from his antecedent as an Activist and as a Human Rights Lawyer.
“I am proud of Keyamo like every Deltan and at the same time happy to see his kind in the cabinet of our dear President, especially, being aware of his rare qualities. Keyamo has a lot to offer this great country.
“Meanwhile, I want to particularly commend President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for nominating two Ministers from Delta State, a State that contribute so much to the treasury of this country. This is an indication that the President shall be fair to all parts of the country.
