In a display of unity and faith, Islamic preachers, on Monday convened in Jalingo, the capital of Taraba State, to seek divine guidance, protection, and continuity for Governor Agbu Kefas’s administration.
Led by Malam Alhaji Hussaini Isma’il, chairman of the Taraba State Forum of Islamic Preachers, the gathering resonated with recitations from the Holy Qur’an and heartfelt supplications.
The event, reported by our state correspondent, drew members of the Islamic community who praised the transparent, neutral, and selfless leadership demonstrated by Governor Kefas.
They also lauded the progress evident in various ongoing projects across the state.
Expressing gratitude for Kefas’s emergence as the executive governor, participants fervently prayed for divine intervention to ensure the continued success of his tenure.

The decision to hold the prayer session during the final ten days of Ramadan underscored the significance of seeking divine blessings during this auspicious period, according to Isma’il.
Isma’il further directed local government coordinators to organize similar sessions in their respective areas before the conclusion of Ramadan. The collective prayers invoked divine wisdom for Governor Kefas to effectively steer the affairs of the state.
Emphasizing the importance of unity, the forum’s leadership urged citizens to set aside religious, political, and tribal differences and rally around the governor for the state’s growth.
