Nigerian businessman and media commentator, Isaac Fayose, has announced the death of his wife following a battle with cancer.
Fayose, who is the younger brother of former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose, shared the heartbreaking news in a post on Instagram on Saturday.

He later posted photos of his late wife alongside the emotional farewell message, “odaro oyinbo mi,” a Yoruba phrase meaning “good night, my white woman.”
Earlier in March, Fayose had revealed that his wife was seriously ill during a visit to his family in Australia.

He disclosed at the time that she had become too weak to carry out normal activities and was battling cancer.
According to him, the situation deeply affected him emotionally as he had to care for her personally, including cooking for her and comforting her by singing her favourite songs.
The announcement of her death has since drawn condolences from supporters, celebrities, and colleagues, including actress Yvonne Jegede, comedian Ali Baba, and veteran musician Daddy Showkey.
