Tom’s Guide recorded an average of 18 hours and 27 minutes in its continuous web-surfing test. PCMag recorded 34 hours and 31 minutes of video playback in an early test, while CNET reported charging the device only three times during five days of heavy testing.
The results suggest that battery endurance is one of the most noticeable practical improvements on the new Pro Max.
Familiar Design With Smaller Dynamic Island
The overall design of the iPhone 18 Pro Max remains familiar, with a 6.9-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display, ProMotion refresh rates of up to 120Hz and a peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits.
The device also features Ceramic Shield 2, an aluminium unibody and IP68 water and dust resistance.
