The founder of Solid Rock Kingdom Church, in Akwa Ibom state, Apostle Dr John Okoriko has said that he had lived in three haunted buildings which was deserted by owners for many years but remained unhurt.
Speaking during the monthly Interactive Service in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state capital Sunday on the theme ” Who Is Afraid of Haunted Houses or Places” Okoriko encouraged Nigerians not to run away from haunted houses or places but should owned them to the glory of God.
He described haunted houses as houses well built, furnished with modern facilities but abandoned by their owners for fear of strange occurrence in the house that scare the original owners and they escaped for safety leaving the house uninhabited.
” Haunted Houses are those buildings built by their owners but before you know it, nobody lives there anymore.”
Okoriko while answering questions from Online Callers explained that haunted houses and locations have nothing to do with demons but with what was from the beginning.
He traced the beginning of haunted people, houses and places to God himself after Cain had killed his brother in scriptures but was haunted by the blood of his brother whom he murdered out of bitterness of his heart.
He therefore warned Nigerians not to be afraid of haunted houses and places because he had lived in such places and later owned them against the beliefs of the people.
” Haunted Houses and places as well as other property abandoned by their owners has nothing to do with demons but deals with what was from the beginning.
” I lived in three accomodations that were haunted and I started a church auditorium in one of them in Eket local government area of the state.
” The owner died and those who lived thereafter also died . Nobody lived there for many years and the house was completely deserted.
” Family members of the landlord refused to come to collect rents and I lived there free and unhurt “.
Okoriko who does not believe in the existence of Satan said those who are afraid of haunted houses are human beings ignorant of what to do or what causes the houses or property to be haunted.

He maintained that haunted houses were built by their owners after shedding innocent blood of people but the blood later turned out to seek for vengeance and justice before God just like the blood of Abel in the Bible which was crying on the face of the earth for justice.
” Blood of innocent people killed does not die . It cries for justice seeking God for vengeance.
” This blood does extraordinary things in haunted buildings such that the owners of the houses run away from them . ”
He advised Nigerians to always stand firm in the Lord by becoming a judge to the innocent blood shed.
Okoriko, author of ” Every Satan Has A Human Face” disclosed that what he did when he lived in a haunted house was to set up a throne of God without using olive Oil and sacrifice of animals in any form but use the word of God and become a judge by making some pronouncements and become a Judge for the innocent blood and all their negative activities in the building seized.”
” We are made to be Kings and Judges by the name of Jesus. Those who are running away from haunted houses don’t know their right of sonship in Christ Jesus.” He said.
