The 10 day event is scheduled to hold from September 30 to October 9, 2022.

According to a statement released by the media assistant of the Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN), Cosmos Chukwuemeka Akisi and signed by HFN Secretary General, Mr Almu Umar Lambu, the 2022 edition serves as the promotional competition to the Prudent Energy Handball Premier League 2023.

Lambu urged states, clubs, academies and others relevant institutions to immediately commence registration of their teams ahead of the league so that adequate preparation can commence immediately.
