A statement issued by the spokesperson to the governor, Sanusi Bature on Monday, emphasised on the need for public enlightenment on the dangers of scooping fuel from accident scenes and called on relevant authorities to enforce safety measures on highways to protect innocent lives.
While praying for the souls of the departed to rest in peace and a quick recovery to those hospitalised, the governor, however, reaffirmed his commitment to supporting efforts to prioritising the safety and well-being of all citizens, urging Nigerians to remain vigilant and take caution in such situations.
