The Orodje of Okpe Kingdom and Chairman of the Delta State Traditional Rulers Council, Maj. Gen. Felix Majakperuo (rtd), Orhue I, says Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s good performance was what attracted the attention of President Bola Tinubu.
In an interview in his palace at Orerokpe, in Okpe Local Government Area, against the background of Gov. Oborevwori’s two years in office ,the Orodje said President Tinubu is happy with the governor.
The monarch also noted that the Federal Minister of Works, David Umahi calls him “action governor” while ordinary Deltans on the streets love him for his impressive performance.
The monarch noted that he is proud of Gov. Oborevwori as a “good son”.

According to the Orodje, the governor, who is one of his illustrious subjects in Okpe Kingdom, distinguished himself because he is detribalised and open in the service of all Deltans.
He said he was optimistic that Deltans across the five major ethnic groups in the state will re-elect Gov. Oborevwori for a second term in 2027, based on merit, precedence and divine grace.
The traditional ruler said the existing power rotation order in Delta State favours the governor and avowed that his eight year tenure was non-negotiable.
On the character of Gov. Oborevwori, the Orodje said he is a blunt, and sincere man who never pretends or deceives in his relations with people.
The traditional ruler said royal blessings and positive thoughts were upon Gov. Oborevwori in his governorship journey ahead.
