In a commitment aimed at bolstering the well-being of National Youth Service Corps NYSC, members in Taraba State, Governor Agbu Kefas has assured Corps members posted to the state of enhanced welfare and security measures.
Agbu made this announcement on Tuesday during the Passing Out Parade of the 2023 Batch ‘C’ Stream 1 orientation course held at the NYSC permanent orientation camp in Sibre, Ardo-kola local government council.
He acknowledged the NYSC’s pivotal role in fostering national integration, social, cultural, and physical development, urging Corps members to sustain their contributions to these objectives.
Addressing the security challenges in the country, he assured Corps members of adequate protection irrespective of were they are posted within the state.
“You know the security challenges in the country now, but I assure you that your security and welfare are guaranteed.”

Expressing gratitude, NYSC State Coordinator, Anthony Nzoka, commended the for his unwavering support.
The State Coordinator emphasized the governor’s commitment to providing generous allowances and welfare packages for Corps members posted to serve in schools.
He encouraged Corps members to uphold good morals and integrate seamlessly with their host communities, starting from the orientation camp.
Adding that, the assurance from the governor signals a positive step towards improving the experiences of Corps members serving in Taraba State, recognizing the importance of their contributions to national development.
