Alhaji Ibrahim Milgoma, the former chairman of the Sokoto State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has passed away in an Abuja hospital following a prolonged illness. His death marks the end of an era for the PDP and leaves a deep void in the political landscape of Sokoto State.

The news of Milgoma’s death was confirmed by the Sokoto State PDP Publicity Secretary, Malam Hassan Sahabi Sanyinnawal, in an official statement that expressed profound grief and paid tribute to the late leader. Described as a “distinguished gentleman” and “respected leader,” Milgoma’s influence and contributions to the progress of Sokoto State and Nigeria at large were lauded.

“Alhaji Ibrahim Milgoma was not just a party leader; he was a father figure to many. His dedication and commitment were instrumental in securing the PDP’s success in the 2019 general elections in Sokoto State,” Malam Sahabi Sanyinnawal stated.

The passing of Alhaji Ibrahim Milgoma is a significant loss for Sokoto State.
