New Salary Structure for Local Government Workers
In a separate development, Governor Fintiri approved the full implementation of the ₦70,000 minimum wage for local government employees under the Harmonised Administrative Salary Structure (HASS), the Medical and Health Salary Structure (MLJSS), and the Consolidated Medical Salary Structure (CONMESS).
The approval is expected to align the remuneration of affected workers with current salary standards and enhance their welfare.
