According to him, all the projects inspected are fully completed and ready for commissioning.

Wike noted that the inauguration of the Abuja City Gate may be held at night to allow residents and visitors to fully appreciate its aesthetic features.
“We believe that the City Gate will be inaugurated sometime in the night so that we can see the beauty of the place. We are very happy indeed, and I am sure that the residents of Abuja are also happy. This is governance in action, and you can see the dividends of democracy,” he said.
The minister added that the commissioning exercise would showcase the impact of the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda in the FCT and invited members of the media to participate in the events.
“You will be our apostles and ambassadors to tell the world of the transformations by Mr President in the FCT,” he said.
On the number of projects to be personally commissioned by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Wike explained that the final decision rests with the Presidency, noting that other senior government officials would also participate in the inauguration ceremonies, as has been done in previous years.
The commissioning exercise is expected to commence on Monday and will cover key infrastructure projects aimed at improving transportation, connectivity, and urban development across the FCT.
