Fayemi declares for president

Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, will on Wednesday May 4, 2022 declare to contest the 2023 presidency under the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He has concluded arrangements for the formal declaration at Abuja Transcop Hotel that will attract his political associates and friends from across the country, especially a large number of traditional rulers from the South West geopolitical zone of the country.

Also expected is a large number former students of the University of Lagos, Fayemi’s alma mater, who are already mobilising for him. Fayemi who will unfold his agenda for Nigeria has in the past two weeks crisscrossed the Southwest, meeting with traditional rulers and key political actors in the region.
