The newly appointed head coach of Shooting Stars Soccer Club, Gbenga Ogunbote has urged the players to exhibit a high sense of professionalism, on and off the pitch.
Ogunbote, who was recently unveiled by the management of Oluyole Warriors, said this during his first address to the players at the Pitch A of the Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu-Ode.
The coach on Wednesday insisted that the players must justify their presence in the team as they work towards fulfilling the huge expectations of the government, management and fans of 3SC.
According to a statement by the club, Oluyole Warriors kick-started their “preparations for the upcoming season on a smooth note with our newly unveiled Technical Adviser, Gbenga Ogunbote, taking charge.”
“With some of our retained players on ground, joined by some of the players invited for the pre-season activities, “Oracle” as coach Ogunbote is popularly called, took time off to officially welcome the players and other officials to the first training session,” 3SC added.
