Speaking during the inauguration of the APC National Campaign Council in Abuja, the senator said the ruling party is targeting an unprecedented electoral margin of over 500,000 votes, citing the governor’s performance and the party’s widespread acceptance among the people of Ekiti State.
Joel-Onowakpo noted that the composition of the campaign council, which includes prominent party leaders, governors, lawmakers and stakeholders from across the country, underscores the APC’s commitment to retaining power in the state and consolidating its political dominance.
According to him, the party’s campaign strategy will focus on grassroots mobilization, sustained voter engagement and highlighting the achievements recorded by the Oyebanji administration in key sectors of the state’s economy.
