Edo lawmakers kill vehicle bill

The Edo State House of Assembly(EDHA) has stepped down the motion calling on Edo State Government and other relevant agencies to apprehend unregistered vehicles plying the State.

Deputy Whip of the House, Honourable Ephraim Otaigbe Aluebhosele, who stepped down the motion, said that the agencies are already up and doing.

He noted that if the house goes ahead with the motion, it would seem as if they are doing what has already been put in place by the state government.

On his part, the Speaker, Honourable Marcus Onobun, noted that various committee works are due for presentation and he urged all committee members to submit their reports for consideration.

Onobun, who said this at plenary, implored them to use the break to fine-tune all their reports.
