Come Saturday, February 25, 2023, the Ebonyi Central senatorial zone will elect somebody that will give them quality and effective representation at the upper chamber.
Although anybody can be elected to represent a people it is a different kettle of fish when a people want a representative that is classical and top-notch.
This is where Sen. Emmanuel Onwe comes in. Ebonyi Central senatorial zone is one of the least zones in Ebonyi state, South East and among the smallest in the country. The zone with four LGAs, comprising Ikow, Ezza south, Ezza North, and Ishielu is the least in the entire South East geo-political zone. Small but mighty zone cannot afford to have anyhow person to represent her at the senate because all eyes are on the zone.
Other zones are looking up to Ebonyi Central senatorial district for direction and to show a good example. So this is where a man in the personage and gab of Sen. Emmanuel Onwe comes in. This time is critical and the zone needs a notable voice and a visible face nationally as a senator. Ebonyi Central zone needs somebody who does not need an introduction at the upper chamber. Ebonyi Central zone requires to send somebody who really understands the business and not a person who will learn on the job. The zone cannot, under whatever petty political gerrymandering affords to disappoint the rest of the zones in Ebonyi state and South East.
It is clear in 2023, other districts will be electing their first-class brains for the competition and Ebonyi Central zone must follow suit.
The best striker to Send for the political premiership in Abuja is Sen Emmanuel Onwe. It is not for nothing that he is the only person with the richest resume. He has tasted the water before, a former Senator.
He is going to the senate next year with rich experience. In all of these, Sen. Onwe showed class and competence. He distinguished himself and is known nationally.

This time, the zone needs somebody with national clout and a personality. Senate is a place for big ‘guys’ where you must be profiled before you are placed. And where you are placed will determine to a large extent where your zone will be placed in terms of sharing the booty.
That is why it is very important to be careful who to send for the highly respected assignment.
Granted, when preferable is not available, available can become preferable but in this case preferable is available and the preferable is Sen. Onwe. You cannot settle for good when the best is available. The truth is that Sen. Onwe towers over and above all his co-contestants. I say this with every sense of responsibility.
Being a member of All progressives Grand Alliance ( APGA), an opposition political party from the state and at the centre would not affect his chances in terms of attracting dividends of democracy to the people.
So the zone must leverage on his antecedents and elect distinguished sen. Emmanuel Onwe next year. It will be a huge gain in sending him to the upper chamber because he is going to a familiar house.
