First Anniversary: Delta’s infrastructure growing in leaps and bounds under Oborevwori – Ukodhiko

Member representing Isoko North/Isoko South Federal Constituency, Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko, has commended Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for the massive improvements in the infrastructural development of Delta State as Governor in the last one year in office.

The House of Representatives member gave the commendation on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 during the State’s Praise and Worship Day, organized as part of activities marking the first year anniversary of the administration of Governor Oborevwori.

He said that, “Governor Sheriff Oborevwori in the last one year in office has displayed astute administrative acumen in seamlessly piloting the affairs of our dear State, Delta to the admiration of all and sundry.

“In infrastructure, the administration of Governor Oborevwori has invested massively in the construction of several road and bridge projects, many of which will be inaugurated as part of the activities marking the 1st anniversary.

“Just as there are serious rehabilitation of educational and health institutions as well as markets in all Local Government Areas of the State, which again give credence to the popular held view of Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori as Governor for all Deltans.

“We can safely say, in the last one year of the administration of Governor Oborevwori, Delta State has grown in leaps and bounds in terms of monumental infrastructural development, which is amazing and reassuring.” Hon. Ukodhiko added.

The Isoko Federal lawmaker while describing the Governor as a focused and visionary leader with a sense of fairness and inclusivity, praised the administration on the achievements recorded in the area of human capital development.

He said, “As a man who believes in the empowerment of his people, the Governor has been creating wealth and economic opportunities to meet the expectations of the teeming youths as evidenced in the recent programmes held last week.

“Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori has made the people of the State believe in good governance and purposeful leadership, and we in Isoko-nation are overwhelmed and we appreciate his immense contributions to the development of Isoko and the empowerment of our people as he marks one year in office today as Governor.

“Yes, for us in Isoko, we will continue to pray fervently and unwaveringly support the administration of the Governor and our revered in-law, Rt Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori in the actualisation of his MORE Agenda in Isoko North and Isoko South Federal Constituency.” Hon. Ukodhiko assured.
