A political pressure group operating in Irri Wards 10 and 11 in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State has endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and other All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections, pledging to mobilise grassroots support for the party.

Irri Political Group Mobilises Support for APC Candidates
The endorsement was announced during a meeting held at Uncle Joe Guest House in Irri, Isoko South LGA, Delta State. The gathering was convened on behalf of High Chief Immanuel Emoefe, the Okpugo of Irri Kingdom, and High Chief Daniel Omoyibo, popularly known as Danmotech.
Speaking at the meeting, Chief Gabriel Abighe, Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Peace Building and Conflict Resolution, represented Emoefe and explained that the initiative was designed to mobilise support for APC candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Abighe said the group was established to encourage political participation and sensitise residents to support Tinubu, Oborevwori and other candidates of the party.
According to him, the meeting was not a formal APC party gathering but an initiative by a political group whose name would be announced by its leaders at a later date.
He explained that Emoefe and Omoyibo had decided to intensify their grassroots mobilisation efforts ahead of the elections.
Emoefe Plans Wider Mobilisation Across Isoko Nation
Abighe said Emoefe, who had previously supported the initiative behind the scenes, was now prepared to lead a broader mobilisation campaign across wards in Isoko nation.
He urged residents of Irri Wards 10 and 11 to support the group, adding that the organisers believed members who actively participated in the initiative could benefit from its activities.
He also disclosed that the mobilisation effort would be extended to other wards across Isoko nation.
Abighe further stated that the Delta State governor was aware of the initiative and that another meeting would be organised with Omoyibo to develop strategies for securing electoral support for APC candidates.
The claims about the governor’s awareness and the group’s plans were made by the organisers at the meeting.
Omoyibo’s Representative Urges Members to Remain Committed
Hon. Igorigo Excellence, who represented Omoyibo at the meeting, said the conveners considered it necessary to bring supporters together to promote the APC and its candidates ahead of the 2027 elections.
He encouraged participants to remain committed to the emerging group, stressing that its primary objective was to mobilise votes for the party’s candidates.
Excellence also highlighted Omoyibo’s empowerment activities across Isoko nation, saying the political leader was prepared to continue supporting people in the area.
He urged members to sustain their involvement and work towards the group’s stated objectives.
APC Supporters Called on to Strengthen Grassroots Campaign
The Local Education Authority Secretary, Hon. Blessing Ese, urged those who attended the inaugural meeting to remain committed to mobilising support for APC candidates.
Ese said members needed to work together to achieve the group’s objectives, emphasising the importance of cooperation and commitment to the initiative.

Hon. Philo Apena also encouraged participants from the two wards to remain steadfast and work towards the party’s electoral success in 2027.
Similarly, the chairman of Irri Ward 10, Hon. Arovah, urged members to demonstrate commitment to the APC and intensify grassroots mobilisation ahead of the elections.
