The People Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State following the defection of Senator Ned Nwoko to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The defection happenedon Saturday at Idumuje Ugboko in Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State.
Our correspondent gathered that despite the repeated denials by his the media aides, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori may follow in Sen. Nwoko’s footsteps by defecting to the APC.
Following Sen. Nwoko’s defection, the three senators from Delta State are in now APC members.

The others are Senator Ede Dafinone of Delta Central and Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas of Delta South.
Speaking to his constituents in his home town, Sen. Nwoko said his movement to the APC was to support the renewed hope agenda of President Bola Tinubu.
It would be recalled that Sen.Nwoko was on the official entourage of the president to the inauguration of Ghana’s new president.
Gloria Okolugbo, director of communications for Sen. Nwoko confirmed the defection, adding that the APC will formally receive the defecting senator in the nearest future.
