Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has scored his first goal for his new club, Al-Hilal after leaving Italian club, Lazio, a year before his contract expires in 2024.
The midfielder, to record the opener in a friendly encounter between Al-Hilal and Al-Kuwait that ended 4-2 on his debut, struck a few seconds after kick-off.
He, well positioned after some exchanges of passes and brilliant play, headed a cross from Salem Abdulhamid at the far end of the post to beat the goalie, Kameel Rahman.

According to his contractual report, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic joined the Saudi Arabian side for 40 million euros and his performance against Al-Kuwait assures Al-Hilal, which finished 3rd on the league table last season, that the club is poised to finish well in the 2023-2024 season.
Other players that recorded their names on the score sheet included Al-Hilal Salem Al-Dawsari, who netted in the 9th minute to cancel Al-Kuwait 5th-minute equaliser by Tunisian Taha Yassine Khenissi.
Michael Richard Delgado De Oliveira and Yassine Amri of Al-Hilal and Al-Kuwait respectively also scored in the first half while Rúben Neves finally sealed a 4-2 win for Al-Hilal from the penalty spot in the 52nd minute.
