The Super Eagles camp has continued to swell up in numbers as no fewer than 25 players have arrived to kick start preparation for the crunch tie against a regular foe Ghana in the Championship of African Nations.
Wednesday’s report from the camp reveals that 13 players have joined the early birds in Bolton White Hotels at Wuse Zone 7, Abuja, to bolster the ranks of the Super Eagles B (home-based Super Eagles).
Among the early birds already in camp included Enyimba FC’s safe hand, Ojo Olorunleke, Water FC and Flying Eagles goalkeeper, Nathaniel Nwosu.
Other early arrivals include Remo Stars striker, Andy Okpe, veteran defender, Tope Olusesi, Katsina United defender, Sani Feisha, Christopher Nwaeze, Zilfikilu Mohammed, Haggai Katoh, Sadiq Abubakar, Godspower Aniefiok, Joseph Onoja, and Hafeez Nosiru.
The Super Eagles will face Ghana in the first leg in Accra on Sunday, 28th August while the second leg holds at Moshood Abiola Stadium Abuja on Saturday 3rd September.
Consequently, the winners on aggregate will go on to participate in the 7th African Nations Championship in Algeria in 2023.
