CDCFIB releases recruitment exam results, says only successful candidates will proceed

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the release of results for its recent recruitment examination into the civil defence, fire service, immigration, and correctional service.

A statement issued by the board disclosed that a total of 1,120,491 applicants successfully completed the examination without any issues, according to reports.

However, the board noted that 432,935 candidates were unable to complete the exam due to various challenges encountered during the process.

It also revealed that 360,923 applicants did not initially meet the requirements to sit for the examination.

Providing a breakdown of the scores, the CDCFIB stated that 221,996 candidates scored between 0 and 40 marks; 229,155 scored between 41 and 60; 278,543 scored between 61 and 80; 108,142 scored between 81 and 90; while only 34,555 candidates achieved scores between 91 and 100.

The board emphasized that only candidates who performed well in the examination will be invited to proceed to the next stage of the recruitment process.

Applicants were also advised to regularly check the board’s official communication channels for updates on the screening schedule, which will be released soon.

The CDCFIB further asked applicants to indicate which service among the four agencies they applied for during the recruitment process.
